Operating Principle
1. Extension Process
- The motor starts and drives the lower-middle fork section outward via a rack-and-pinion mechanism, extending it to 50%–60% of its own length.
- The upper-middle fork section continues to extend from the midpoint of the lower-middle section, completing the second stage of extension.
- The upper fork section extends from the midpoint of the lower-middle section, ultimately achieving a total extension stroke equal to twice the length of the fork sections.
2. Limit and Protection Mechanisms
- Equipped with Omron D4MC-5020 limit switches and Pepperl+Fuchs NBN4-12GM50 inductive switches to precisely control the extension endpoints and prevent damage caused by over-travel.
- Features an encoder (such as the Kübler F5868 series) to provide real-time feedback on fork position, ensuring synchronized operation across the fork sections.
