Adjustable Offset Die
In the fields of metalworking and bending, an Adjustable Offset Die is commonly referred to as an 'adjustable joggeling die,' 'adjustable Z-bending die,' or 'adjustable offset tool.' It is a highly efficient, specialized tooling used on press brakes to form a 'Z-shape' (offset/joggle) bend in sheet metal in a single stroke.

In traditional bending, creating a Z-shape (i.e., two consecutive right-angle bends in opposite directions with a transition in between) requires making the first bend, repositioning the workpiece, and then making the second bend. This process is not only time-consuming but also prone to dimensional inaccuracies due to positioning errors.
An Offset Die, on the other hand, features a mating 'stepped' design for both the punch (upper die) and the die (lower die). With just a single stroke of the press brake, it simultaneously performs two bends in opposite directions, directly forming a standard Z-shaped offset.
