Choosing a good shearing machine can better bring out the best performance of high-quality blades!
The gap adjustment between the upper and lower blades of the shearing machine is generally maintained at a ratio of 0.05 to 0.1mm/mm of the plate thickness! The selection of numerical values should take into account factors such as the tensile strength of the sheared sheet, the error compensation of the tool rest, and the plastic deformation of the tool rest after loading. If the blade clearance is too small, the extrusion effect will increase during the cutting process, and the pressure and friction force on the blade will be greater, resulting in accelerated wear on the end face and side face of the blade and premature wear failure. When the blade clearance is too large, the processed sheet metal will bend and deform. The contact area between the upper and lower blade cutting edges and the sheet metal will be too small, and the impact force will be concentrated at the cutting edge, causing plastic passivation of the cutting edge and reducing the grinding life of the blade!
Design flaws of the hydraulic pendulum shearing machine: The tool rest itself is arc-shaped. It ensures the straightness of the sheared material through arc-shaped point contact. The force application point of the tool rest and the force application point of the blade are not in the same straight line and are relatively far apart. After long-term operation, the tool rest is prone to fatigue and deformation, causing severe blade phenomena and burrs on the cut edge. The bearing connection clearance between the swing arm and the swing frame is also relatively large, generally >0.10mm. The shearing Angle is fixed and not adjustable. The shearing of thick plates and thin plates is consistent, which is time-consuming and energy-consuming. The diamond-shaped blade design is also prone to causing the material being cut to twist in a twisted pattern. The narrower the cut, the more severe the twisting and deformation! A workman who wants to do his job well must first sharpen his tools. Choosing a good shearing machine can better bring out the best performance of high-quality blades!
The 55SicrA square steel produced by Baosteel is used to manufacture shearing machine blades. The forgings are treated by the traditional annealing process, which consumes a lot of energy, has a long cycle and low efficiency. The quenching and tempering spheroidizing pre-heat treatment ensures uniform spheroidized structure, which can eliminate the graphitization tendency caused by high silicon content in 55Sicr steel. Heat and quench in oil at 800 °C, temper at 580-620°C and then air cool. After correction, rough milling and fine machining are carried out to form the shape, leaving sufficient allowance. Heat and quench in oil at 860°C and temper twice at medium temperature at 320°C. The shearing life of the blade for plates under 6mm has been increased from 6,000 times to 25,000 times, with a significant improvement in efficiency! Licheng blades help users save every penny!
