As an important equipment in the field of metal processing, the operating efficiency and service life of punching machines largely depend on daily maintenance and upkeep. Neglecting daily maintenance can not only lead to equipment malfunctions, but may also affect product quality and even cause safety accidents. Therefore, a reasonable maintenance strategy is crucial.

Firstly, lubrication and maintenance are the foundation of punch press maintenance. Operators should regularly check whether each lubrication point is properly oiled, especially moving parts such as sliders, guide rails, and connecting rods. Using appropriate lubricating oil can not only reduce wear, but also effectively reduce equipment operating noise.

Secondly, cleaning work cannot be ignored. After each shift, the surface of the punch press and the surrounding area of the mold should be cleaned to avoid the accumulation of dust and metal shavings, which may cause jamming or damage. In addition, the dust inside the electrical control box also needs to be cleaned regularly to prevent overheating or electrical faults.

Tightening inspection is equally important. During long-term operation, the screws, nuts, and other connecting components of the punch press may become loose and require regular inspection and tightening, especially for critical parts such as flywheels and clutches.
